Market stabilization after gold squish ?

It's the first Gold squish I know since I joined Warmane, and all I can see is that the market is wrecked -- prices up, down, all around.

What to expect after a gold squish, please ? When to expect a stabilization ?

There still are people dumping stuff in the AH below market rates. I expect things will get to normal around April. Usually I wait two months after the squish to continue playing the AH to avoid getting my blood pressure up.

Man, at this rate, your blood pressure monitor is gonna need its own healer. Might as well spec into Discipline Priest just to keep yourself alive while watching the AH.

There will be no market stabilization. Gold Squish happen each year.. First 2-3 months after it happened everything will be somewhat cheaper.
But over the year the prices will start to go up. And as usually right before gold squish everything on market will be 200-300% more expensive.

If you got few gold caps and play for multiple years here. You can let them take 50% gold and buy out everything cheap on market and at end of year you will get back 150% That's 100% income from nothing. Or in worst case you make back those 50% that squish took.

In some point this gold squish is just stupid and pointless. Because only thing it does is mess up the whole market. And RICH that know all this have already mitigated this "squish" by spending whole gold into items or right-out buying coins. You literally can let them take 50% and buy out cheap AH that gets flooded with items after squish and still make profit later in year by selling double the market price. Or like i like to do right before squish for triple the profit.

200k > 100k after squish > buy out market for cheap > sell latter for 2-3x markup = you get back 200k or 300k. G.G.
Now i like to buy as much raw materials i can - spending all my gold. Stock my bank full and simply start crafting items later in year for much-much more profit.
Items that cost 2x less than before squish = good price. Even better if they are even cheaper. As you know they gonna be the same price as before squish..

You all should have seen the TBC realm AH back in November. Everything priced SO LOW that making money was a nightmare. Many items listed for LESS than what they could have vendored it for.
