1. Is it to late to start for TBC

Hello, i was thinking about starting tbc but i am unsure if its to late to play. Is there a good catch up system?

  2. It shouldn't be too difficult to catch up. The heroic keys only require honored reputation and the raids are post nerf so there are a lot of pug raids running and you don't need exceptional gear to be successful.

Items in the auction house are reasonably priced now so there is some good gear available. That or you can use the trade system to buy a toon or an item on the store if desired. If you have time and play around peak hours it shouldn't be too much an issue though.

My advice if you wanted a greater chance at success in raiding then avoid rolling rogue, warrior or tank classes. Those spots are usually filled. Melee also struggle a lot in dungeons and aren't desirable. Warlocks, mages, hunters and shamans do well overall and are sought after in raids.

  3. I don’t think it’s too late at all. My guild of 10-12 started about a month ago and we have cleared Kara the past two weeks without issue and are about to start pugging Gruul and Mag. We hope to catch up with SSC and TK once we can recruit or combine with another guild.

I’d advise you to consider rolling a Tank or Healer if you plan on solo queuing for dungeons. If you want to play DPS you should consider prioritizing a class/spec with some CC or other utility (totems, buffs, etc.).

    You can absolutely catch up!
