Hello, I never thought that I would need to create a topic here regarding this situation.
It's been a while that this is happening, but just today already has been 2 times...
How to deal with people kicking you from heroic dungeons for absolute no reason?
Before, I was getting kicked from Heroic Mana-Tombs before first boss just because they thought I would leave after it because of the bis enhance totem. Now I'm getting kicked from random dungeons for no reason, literally no reason...
I did read the rules and we could report this for "disrupting gameplay", but like, we would need to record every single dungeon that we go through?
I really need help to know how can I deal with this...
If it's happening consistently for you then there definitely would be a reason. If you're not causing drama then it's possible you're falling short on gameplay. Failing tactics or not using proper abilities for your class or doing really low damage. Sometimes players will mention the issue, but sometimes they just vote to kick because dps is easy to replace.
it is not disrupting gameplay. if 3/4 people want to kick you for whatever reason, they can do so without breaking any rules.
i agree that some of the reasons people have to kick others from groups are kinda ****ty but that's one downside of convenience features like rdf - especially for easily replaceable dps.
still, the main reason you will get kicked is lack of performance - be that inability to do mechanics or lack of dps/gear. and judging by the number of completely undergeared people i see in heroics, this is often justified.
rdf is a convenience feature that didn't exist in original tbc. if you struggle with the downsides of it, i suggest to form dungeon groups the old fashioned way.
go resto , roll items for enha , if you can equip and that item its works for your class , you can roll it .. even you are wrong spec , its your class item.
Enchancement Shaman just isn't that good for heroics unless you overgear it and roll with a melle heavy team. If undergeared more ideal setups with more crowd control work better (mages). Reso shaman is great, decent heals, heroism.

Why are you giving false information? That's a fast lane to getting reported and banned.
Not quite true. If they kick you after a boss was killed, to keep you from rolling for the loot, that can be reported.
Its not even possible to initiate vote kick during loot roll unless it happens between boss kill and clicking the body which is unlikely as usually someone instantly clicks it. And even if it was possible then this rule says raids specifically, not RDF.

So it's not possible, unless it happens... Cool story.
While the rule mentions raids, I'm pretty confident someone reporting the "impossible, unless" with evidence could get someone banned.
"Each case is individually reviewed and some exceptions to the above may be applied, given that we feel it is most appropriate to take different approach in particular case."

Yeah. TBC HC's are more demanding than WotLK ones. There's a lot more CC and tactics involved, thus team synergy becomes more essential. It's more about the team, less about the individual. If there's a team member that's a bad fit, for whatever reason, they are often replaced so that the rest of the group can get better fitting replacement. Bringing 0 CC into CC heavy instance might result in a kick. Bringing mediocre ST DPS to AoE heavy instance might result in a kick etc.
There's always a reason. That reason might not be clear to you, but there's a reason nonetheless. The reason isn't always a fair one, or a reasonable one, or even justified one. If 3 others agree with the kick, there's certainly something going on, unless people are just mindlessly clicking yes on the prompt, which can happen. Even wrong kicks happen when people see the opportunity for it and take it.
Reading the previous replies, it could be enhancement hate issue.. Perhaps consider it if you keep getting kicked for 'no (apparent) reason.'

in rdf you roll for the spec you do the rdf in, otherwise it's considered ninja looting. read the rules
You didn't. You made a generic statement that people can just kick at whatever moment for whatever reason.
since we want to be nit-picky, i made a generic statement saying they could "kick you for whatever reason", not "at whatever moment".
you added that part.
kicking someone after a boss kill but before the boss is looted wasn't the topic here and barely ever happens in dungeons, if at all.

You need to grow some hair on your balls before you can play at this table.
Generically "kicking for whatever reason" includes kicking after a boss is killed for the reason of taking all the loot, which is incorrect.
