Burning Crusade Cannot create certain race/gender combos on Onyxia

I've just created a new account to play WoW with my dad, and I'm trying to create a female night elf on Onyxia, but for some reason it won't let me, it just freezes on "Creating character..." and then nothing. But if I do a male night elf, it works? I tried a bunch of different combos, too, and others don't work, but others do. Like, the server will let me make a male tauren, but not a female tauren. I can make a female undead, but not a male undead.

What, uh...what's up with that?

For starters:

1. Restart your PC.
2. Close and exit torrent.
3. Move your WoW -folder to other folder, away from Torrent's Download folder.
4. Right click WoW -Folder, select properties, un-check "Read-only" and Apply.
5. If you get prompt, Apply changes to this folder, sub-folders and files and click OK.

Could try naming your WoW's cache -folder cache.bkup and try again.
