I'm getting pretty sick to the back teeth of the same occurence: I fly in to Ratchet only to get immediately killed by enraged griffons. Now, I'm still trying to understand how this is happening, so perhaps someone can inform me, but my understanding so far is down to someone alerting me to a griefer on the roof opposite the flight master.
Not only is it sad and regrettable that someone decides to get fellow Hordesters killed for their own miserable gratification, but it gets even worse. The other day I found a player on the roof. They were level 20; the exact level needed to get onto the roof via a mount. They actually created a character for the specific purpose of getting other Horde players killed. I've been told they 'taunt' the flightmaster somehow and that gets the griffons enraged who will then kill Horde players, but I don't know how they 'taunt' him. Warmane is the only platform I've noticed this on. I've also noticed that waving at guards gets rotten apples thrown at you (or something like that). Is this 'taunt' an annoying by-product of the Warmane customisation of reactions with NPCs? I dunno. I'm getting very tempted to roll an Alliance hunter.
What can be done about this ultra-annoying behaviour?
