Retri pala vs ele shaman

I got some coins from selling gold before gold squish and i wanted to get new char for bgs/arena/wpvp but i cant decide between Retri Paladin or Ele Shaman? In your opinion which is more fun to play ? Keep in mind they wont be ful lbis chars, just few bis items

Since you mentioned not being fully BiS, Retri Paladin gives more value for less gear. You'll survive more, hit hard when needed, and still feel impactful with average gear. Plus, in Horde PvP (especially on Icecrown), melee generally blends in better due to comp variety and zerg-style WPvP.
