1. Pet aggro in case of multiple mobs

    Hello there.

My second try to play hunter, not new to the game though. I'm constantly having troubles with multiple mobs: if there are 2-3 of them, pet can effectively growl only the main target (cause of CD and focus issues) and the other mobs almost always run straight to me. Sometimes they run to me even if I don't do damage (sic!). Since I'm 20+ atm, pet don't have aoe aggro abilities, but there must be some other way to play. I mean I have looms, but the gameplay is painful: my pet holding the first mob with growl, I put second mob in a freezing trap and run from the 3d (and mby 4th) trying to clip/cuncussion/disengage and trying to damage the first mob at the same time. It's even easier to level mage/priest/rog without looms, than a loomed hunter.
I definitely do not understand the way to play. I've heard hunter is a lazy machine, "the pet just carries u through the game". I've played all classes in wotlk (shaman and warr are mains), and for me it seems the hunter is the hardest class to play. What am I doing wrong (except playing WoW ofc)?

  2. Weird that you would be pulling multiple mobs anyway. Most the game is just running from one mob to the next.

Make sure you go beast mastery spec. Then I guess for that issue you can tame a bear as it's a good tank pet and has an aoe damage ability to start.
