T4 and T5 raid are dying!
Hey, just got a thought that its sad that T4 and T5 raids are not so popular nowadays.
Was thinking if it would be possible to lower the HP bar of trash? So it would be doable by low geared raid/pug in like 1,5h or less.
What about decrease HP bar of T4 raid mobs by 75% and T5 raid mobs by 50%?
Not the bosses, only the trash - its anyways just annoying part of the raid for all ppl.

Really makes it hard for people to get attuned also, only groups you can really join is the rare group that somehow gets put together.
Worth consideration for sure, or else you'll have nobody really getting attunements.

What are you smoking? People are doing it regularly, at least on Horde. T5 is required to do the attunement for Hyjal, which is required to do the attunement for BT. People will continue to do SSC and TK for the remainder of TBC.

If you reduce the HP of trash mobs by 75% you could find certain classes able to solo Kara trash.
They already removed the attunements. T5 trash is already quite easy, except for a few large packs in TK. They've already made the raids easier on Onyxia, let's not make it even more pointlessly easy. Find a guild, join a pug, or play another game.

A lot of guys doing alts , fresh guys joins to.
Kara is easy then RDF HC just saying, get pre raid gear and just go.

Yeah, have to agree with Nose... it's insane enough to truly believe we would implement custom nerfs at all in content that is still relevant (when we don't do that even for old content), but absolute delulu to throw -75% hp out there.

I don't think anything needs nerfed, but i can say, trying to get attunements to MH and BT are really hard. Even in a guild that raids, because they're focused on current content rather than previous tiers.
Alts? Forget about it, being new to the server and private servers in general I am late to the party and even considered making a few alts until I thought about how hard it is to get into SSC / TK to be able to do MH / BT. Been hunting for groups daily, all day, and haven't had much in the way of success. That said, I am signed up for a GDKP that is supposed to happen next weekend, but we will see.
So, I come at this from a point of a new player with more limited time than myself, the only option soon to become purchasing characters that already have attunement, rather than creation of new characters. So, the attunements don't really scream "welcome new players" at all, it's punishing to them.Edited: 4 Weeks Ago

I agree with Zmps, Attunements for raids are a major cockblock for newcomers to join raids and shall be removed. They prevent both new players and alts. I can agree with the needlessness of hp nerf, but removing attu is something that should be done.

Im not sure if it needs a nerf but I can't get a TK/ SSC raid ever even as a 1.5k gs mage (horde). Its very rare they ever come in the global chat, and if they do they are GDPK.

I did SSC/TK twice last week just from global chat. I see multiple a day. Pretty sure several guilds are still running them.
The game was designed around the attunement process. You can't hit level 70 and walk into a T6 raid. Catch up mechanisms weren't really developed until Sunwell. On top of that attunements were built to challenge a player before they could enter the next stage of content. There are flaws with that design which is why it was changed, but that is the game of TBC and something players have to accept going into it. If you change that then it stops being TBC. T5 attunements were already removed which cut the difficulty in half so I don't know why you guys complain about the easier attunements anyway.

Thats simply not true lol. there is no "TK/SSC twice a week in global chat". Literally only new content, kara runs and the occasional GDPK. Don't spread misinformation dude

Definitely not misinformation. Those raids did happen. Had a couple guild members needing attunement and got them in groups. Only thing I can think of is you're playing on Alliance.

I've sat in Global for the better part of a week, and while i have seen a couple of groups, they are limited in who they take in there, mostly taking people who are already attuned to MH/BT due to the gear they already possess. So while you're half right, it's still a point that can be proven from a new player perspective.

That's what I said. You can't hit level 70 and walk into a T6 raid. Whether attunements are in the game or not, you still have to go from point A to point B regardless. There is no catch up mechanism. You're not getting into T4 without proper gear, you're not getting into T5 without proper gear etc.
TBC is not new player friendly. If you want to catch up then you need to play a desirable class/spec. You need to pay for key items in the store. You need to find a guild. You need to pay for a carry. I think more importantly you just need to know what you're doing. ZA and Sunwell phaes are coming up though so it will get a lot easier at that point to catch up with all the new gear.

You guys are missing the point. You are asking people to do raids and grind to get gear yes? Well if there are no people doing those raids, there is no way to catch up. If there are no opportunities to level up in gear and knowledge, there will be a huge divide and its already happening now.
