WotLK Character for rename without using that option.

Hello!
I have an issue about my character.
Whenever i try to log in to the game it gives me that my character has been flagged for rename even though i haven't used that option. Neither by donating or voting about it.
I did write a ticket but they said that they can't do anything about it and it's fine.
It's not really that big of a deal but i play from time to time and i really don't want to change that name.
I would appreciate any kind of advice.

Did you try using the old name?

Inactivity clean-ups removes names from characters affect by it.
Having a name that the GMs deem inappropriate also results in you being forced to rename.

I did write a ticket about it, don't think Cosmicterror is inappropriate for them to consider forcing a rename.
I do log from time to time but that never happened. I mean i didn't play for half an year and i didn't have that issue.
However they advised me to post this here i guess so i'm open for anything.

People have been complaining of this since the error that was made this year with the name cleanup; many characters have been flagged for rename unnecessarily. Maybe someone can forward this to the responsible part of the staff so this can be looked at?

The way things stand the only thing you can do is rename your character to whatever else and then spend 10 points to rename back. Not the worst thing in the world but, as I said, it should be unnecessary.
