    Multiboxing raids?

Hey, long time player, never multiboxed before, I have a question. Would it be possible for a single multiboxer to solo something like Ulduar? If so, which class is best for that?

    Impossible.
MAYBE Karahzan is doable, but nothing harder.

Naxx and OS weekly bosses are totally doable. Some even just with 5 chars - https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=407651 (That's me back in the day of 2019).
There were some changes since then, so mby now you do need full 10 man team.

On the original wotlk offi there were boxers that solo cleared whole Naxx during it's phase (200-213 item lvls).

Ulduar as a whole would be quite hard, but with some overgearing you could power through.
First wing is mostly tank and spank and has been done before, but then you have the bosses where you split your raid to two groups or where you have to actively run around with one char while doing something else with others.

On the other hand two mbxes did clear 10 man icc on Icecrown.

It is all about the setup and patience in the end.

Forgot to mention, that Kara is 5-mannable at 70-71 up until the chess event and skipping Netherspite.
(back in the day it was somehow speed-up so I couldn't really keep up with the individual movements)

ZA was super hard with the initial gauntlet event where my caster group just ran out of mana, so I only cleared it when I was leveling second group as 5x80 + 5x 70/71.

With same setup I killed Gruul. The HKM fight is actually the harder one with the fear, bombing firemage and the fact that it is a 25 man.

5-manning ICC thrash for the ring rep was also possible, but slow.

Okay, just to give out a fresh look what is actually doable by multiboxing. The journey isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. So here we go, here's my personal diary entry I guess:

Naxx10 is very much soloable. Have achieved undying there by multiboxing solo. Naxx25 is doable, have done everything except KT personally

    OS10 & 25 done, both with 3 drakes. Onyxia 10 & 25 cleared. Malygos 10 & 25 cleared. VoA 10 & 25 cleared.

Ulduar 10& 25. 10/13 done, quite a few hard modes as well.

    ToGC 25 3/5, ToC 25 cleared. ToGC10 cleared.

iCC10 done via boxing 9 characters and 1 player as outside help (healer). Of these we run DBS, gunship, Blood queen almost weekly as heroic. Should try the rest as well.

ICC 25 11/12 done, 10 bosses done via same arrangement of 1 extra individual healing, professor putricide has required us thus far for a third person to help as abomination. Able to run Marrowgar, Rotface and DBS and Blood Queen on heroic.

Don't listen to fools telling you can't do something. Started this journey about two years ago. Honestly doing karazhan chess solo seems harder than most things I have to flex with. There's few resources available and some videos on YouTube regards to pve boxing. Sadly out of the boxing community we seem to be the niche. Most people PvP, or attempt to, stomping on the little fellas, but there's few of us out there that clear full raids on the weekly.

Regardless of what can and can't be cleared, I'd recommend to think bigger than one class. If you ever really want to start raiding as a boxer, you have to approach it via rotations. Some classes have simple and easy to create cast sequences, some do not.

For dungeon stomping direct damage is great, and for boxing paladin tank seems to be an all around king. For raiding you may wish to cheese some of the healing with tenacious classes such as shadow priests. Remember that you still wish to have certain raid buffs, perhaps even luxuries such as summoning stones and strudels.

Cheerio and good luck on the journey ahead if you choose to take it.

raids are very much doable. but its hell of a job to gear all your chars.
