I think its about time for a serious discussion regarding AFK'ers in Battlegrounds. It's to the point where every single game has multiple AFK's either at the start, or automatically after falling behind a small number of points. These individuals all notoriously avoid the reported AFK kick detection by running face first into the enemy just to remove the debuff and go right back to AFK'ing again. This behavior makes BG's unenjoyable, and it's to the point where it's almost every single game at this point. During Classic on Onyxia / the whole AV Bridgefight pvp time period - at least things were done, and bans were made in order to try and keep this behavior under control and at a minimum. But the lack of punishment that these individuals currently face for constantly ruining games for numerous other people makes it feel like this type of behavior is practically encouraged at this point.
The main problem is even after reporting them afk it takes what, 5 mins to actually get kicked? the whole system feels like its designed to actually help and encourage the afk behaviour.
Another Reason for WOTLK release for PvP is going to be amazing. World PvP for Borean Tundra and the Howling Fjord is going to be an awesome Experience, think AV on Steroids but barely anyone is AFK. People will be forced to PvP or be Honor farmed for the time it is released. That's about the only thing this server has going for it and that's at least 6 months or more away for the WOTLK Release.
