1. In-game masters ignoring warmane rules violations

    Hi!
For the last couple of weeks i've already created two tickets with explicitly provided evidence (screenshots, player names, context, etc.) about some of the players violating rules of conduct by disrupting gameplay or doing ninja looting. For example, one player needed every item from a current expansion dungeon to sell them and ignored being told not to do so.

(https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=325598 | In-game ninja policy | ** Rolling Need on an item that is worse than currently equipped one. | ** Rolling Need on an item in order to sell or disenchant it. > ban 5 days (current expansion dungeons / old raids).

Other player queued and entered a dungeon with resurrection debuf and, after being asked to leave, refused and intentionally wiped the whole group by doing mass aggro.

(https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=65037 | NO SOCIAL MISTREATMENT OR ANNOYANCE | joining RDF only to idle and refuse to leave on your own to avoid the debuff).

Every time game masters replied to my tickets saying that the reported behaviour is not punishable with a ban, which is clearly a lie or just a total lack of rules of conduct knowledge/understanding. After being corrected with provided rules of conduct, game masters immediately changed their initial position and started claiming that there's not enough evidence.

I'd like there to be at least some kind of investigation of these events, as i dont think having the rules makes sense anymore.

It’s possible your report didn’t meet the required conditions:
    - Screenshots must be completely unedited (no cropping, etc.).
    - One screenshot should clearly show the player rolling need on the item and winning it.
    - Another should show the player’s spec during that dungeon, so the GameMaster can confirm the item isn’t meant for them.
    - Finally, a screenshot proving the player already had a better item than the one they rolled on.

In that case, the correct action is to use the vote kick system. If the rest of the group doesn’t agree to kick him, then unfortunately GMs cannot interfere. Even if he pulls entire packs on purpose, you are still able to initiate a vote kick.
That said, I’d like to suggest a possible improvement: players with the Resurrection Sickness debuff should not be able to queue for RDF Heroic (and maybe not even RDF Normal)

Every time game masters replied to my tickets saying that the reported behaviour is not punishable with a ban,
They most likely meant that about the “sickness player,” since that situation can be handled by players themselves.

If you still have the full, proper screenshots (as I mentioned above), you should be able to report them successfully. I’ve personally used this exact method to fill reports and can confirm that GameMasters do take action when sufficient evidence is provided.

  3. Hello,

We will only issue ninja looting in dungeons bans if the item in question is of the same or higher itemlevel as that found in the heroic endgame dungeon after you defeat a boss. Virtually all endgame uncommon items are of a lower itemlevel spare the exception where uncommon items might be of a similar or close enough quality is earlier level dungeons and those situations are treated differently. Now, if you were to roll need on a BoE epic such as Je'Tze's Bell or other WoTLK epic world drops we will issue a ban for that if you rolled need on that without being of proper spec to use it while in that dungeon or don't actually need it, you should be rolling greed for it at that point. The reason for this is because it's the same itemlevel as the epics in that dungeon spare frozen halls and TotC and even then it's still high enough to get your character into endgame raiding content. If you need uncommon items of WoTLK quality you can find them in the world just by doing quests or killing world mobs.
