Minimum program in BG
Playing BG lately, I've been noticing a strange situation more and more often. After the first unsuccessful battle, some players from the team don't continue the battle, but stand in AFK and wait for defeat. This is especially noticeable in WSG.
Sometimes you get into the middle of such a battle, where half of the team is inactive, and the enemy has already won 1-2 flags. Players are just passively waiting for defeat.
You think, well, the opposing raid is too strong to fight, the situation is a stalemate. Everyone will think so...
And yesterday, my friend and I got into such a battle. The team is helplessly standing on the respawn. There are only 7 players in our team. The enemy team is standing right on the respawn.
Two more new players immediately appeared behind us and we went to attack the enemy team. The four of us managed to destroy 7 enemy players and free the base from "occupation". It would seem that we gained an advantage, 4 good players joined the team. It's time to take matters into our own hands. But our sluggish friends did not lift a finger, but continued to stand on the respawn. As a result, the enemy team again came to our base in full force, and the result was obvious.
Of course, this is not a one-time incident. There are more and more such "deserters" who are waiting for the end of the battle.
And so, my friend after that gave the truth. The problem is not in the balance, and not in the fact that the opposing team is too strong. It's just that people want to fulfill the program at a minimum - to win the BG with minimal effort. Or rather, they want to be on a team where there is a set of strong players - in skill, not equipment, who will win this battle for you, while you will passively press the keys and lazily stand by the flag...
That's a normal thing. Players are just done with the current game and want to move to the next. There is usually some level of division between players who want to continue and those who just sit around waiting for it to end.
Its over when its 10 random horde vs a premade, the first battle is a wash and then its a waiting game until the next one. I think there should be either a limit to people you can que with or some sort of surrender button after 5 mins of game play, it makes queing bgs really tough some days.
WSG is just aliance primade vs Horde randoms, if you are a Horde and que Rbg you end up agains Aliance primade 9/10 times, I stoped quing RBG and only que AV and Ioc, still you can end up against ally primade there too but not every battle, you mostly end up random vs random or Horde mbox from Neu division farming ally gy for kills, Rbg has become just ally primade groups farming Horde random 24/7, nice server
