1. Mortal Strike x Beacon of Light

Fast question (wotlk): If target has Beacon of light on him and receives "indirect" healing via it, but also has mortal strike on him as well - will this healing from beacon be cut by 50% from MS? I thought yes, but I found just that this was fixed in cata and didn't have chance to test it out so far:

Cataclysm Hotfix (2010-12-14): Healing done by Beacon of Light is now properly affected by healing modifiers on targets which reduce healing done (i.e. [Mortal Strike]).

  2. It's possible that the bug was introduced in the cata prepatch and then fixed a few days later.

It should not be hard to find videos of arenas or bgs played using the 3.3 patch where someone has beacon and ms or aimed shot.

  3. yes, the healing from Beacon of Light is reduced.

    june-2010 clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3emj-6DeU7A
    Paladin has beacon
He casts "holy shock" on his partner -> 5803 -> paladin gets "only" 3047 via beacon

    5803*0,5*1,05= 3047

On warmane it was bugged and it got fixed 4 years ago: https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/101987

so I guess right now it works fine (like the youtube retail clip)
