No announcement so far.

I've expect the announcement in the next couple weeks, then a 4 week period before the prepatch, then a 2 week prepatch period. This puts us at early December at the soonest.

I'd say they better release pre-patch like TBC like a year ago. at 2nd November pre patch goes live and couple of weeks later the expansion. I don't wait two month so 3-4 guilds want to progress a nerfed raid. Also a lot of people have the same idea.
