Technical Connecting to game server

I often have problems connecting to the server. The game says "connection established," and then nothing happens. I click cancel, and then I'm taken to the game world selection screen. I select the desired one, and then the "connection established" screen appears again.
My internet service provider can't resolve this issue, claiming it's a server problem. Please help.
