Please, The entire BC Experience has been absolute horrible when it comes to playing BGs as an Onyxia player.
Wrath is so fkng fun and amazing. In your post it says "Onyxia Caters to casuals" How is having a server like blackrock catering to Casuals?
PLEASE just consider not adding Blackrock to Onyxia BGS until S8...
We are so tired of getting stuck in BGs purely with Blackrock players just afking mid HK farming cause thats the only thing they care about.

this has been a problem since 1.5 years ago vanilla AV bridge farming, and why i stopped playing in phase 1 tbc. they aren't going to do anything about it.

It's not the blackrock players thats the problem. The problem is the gearing system they implemented on blackrock. You basically have to farm more than honor cap EVERY week to be able to open all the boss boxes that you want. This ultimately makes people afk because theyre so tired of playing bgs because they HAVE TO.
I really REALLY hope they'll use the same system in wrath on blackrock, as they did when frostmourne was around. The current system is straight up garbage, nobody likes it.

The issues I see with Blackrock are that they do get an advantage gearing in endgame as content has progressed. Like now they get easier access to Sunwell gear as a newer player while newer players on Onyxia don't have that luxury. If you've progressed on Onyxia though it's similar. That's a hole there.
Another issue is the above comment. Blackrock players are being driven to farm. They do afk as a result. On top of that though you'll find well geared Blackrock players spending more time in battlegrounds while Onyxia players have no reason to. Normally it wouldn't matter because it's split between factions, but when one faction activity is much higher like Horde is for TBC then Blackrock will be favored on Alliance for example.
Those are some issues with Blackrock. Normally though teams will lose based on S tier compositions and classes being on one team or the other. Multiple healers, multiple hunters, warriors with pocket healers etc. To be fair though Blackrock does make up a huge chunk of PvP population and attracts a lot of players so to say they're worthless and should be excluded might not be the best approach either.

100% Agree. Onyxia PVP would be somewhat dead without Blackrock.

Onyxia PvP would be fine without Blackrock and with mercenary mode. Many people, including me just stopped pvping because Blackrock made it feel unfair.

I agree, we don't need blackrock player. Bg are fine only with onyxia player, they need us and parasite our bg with unfair advantage or afk ...
