WotLK Not sound in Windows 11

Hi, since I updated my PC to Windows 11 I’ve been having a problem with WoW.
I don’t know if it only happens with version 3.3.5 or with all versions, since I can’t really test it.

The issue is that I have no sound at all. Both in the game settings and in the Windows volume mixer everything is set to maximum, and even pressing Shift+S it remains muted.

I tried running the game in Windows XP compatibility mode and then I did get sound, but when I try to log in it says that I was disconnected from the server.

Has anyone had this problem and managed to fix it?

Works fine for me. (Not helpful I know, but not a windows issue, in a sense. It can work on win11)

Haven't had any issues with Win 11 and sounds either. Make sure your audio settings on your PC and WoW are set right (playback devices/sound output channels).

Open the game, close the game, go to the folder "Logs", open the file "SESound.log", and paste its contents here.
