Craft Only: Because Who Needs Real Gear Anyway ?

Hi everyone! I’ve got two questions for you:

First: is there a guild out there for players who level and gear themselves purely through crafting?
Second: how far can a fully crafted-only character realistically go before raids become impossible?

I know a lot of you run around with heirloom-stacked alts, chain-pulling half the dungeon at once and I love that playstyle too. But sometimes I just want something a bit more old-school, a bit more dangerous… a kind of “vanilla challenge” without the nightmare talent trees. I want mobs to feel scary again, not just loot piñatas while I’m opening Satchel of Helpful Goods like card boosters, hoping for that one missing piece.

So if a guild like this already exists on Horde side, I’d really love to know about it.
And if it doesn’t… well, maybe it’s time we create one, if enough people are interested!

I wish we could make a full set out of Engineering full of weird functions lol. Something like Megaman with double jump boots, energy absorb armor and radar helmet.

@Palutena That would be awesome! ^^ Sadly, at my current level I can’t even craft a proper shield or staff yet.

@Shred i was using the Wowhead tool finder, buy yours is good too. Such a shame that shield and staff are in short supply.

Since no such guild seems to exist, I went ahead and created Only Craft. If anyone is interested in the challenge, feel free to PM Craffty or Crafftyheal in-game to join.

The only rule is simple: all equipped gear must be crafted.
We’re a very casual guild,play at your own pace, no pressure, and definitely no raiding anytime soon (currently around level 20). Just here for the challenge and the fun.
