1. MythicTimer - Mythic+ Style Challenge Addon for 3.3.5

    Hey everyone!
I'm working on a new addon that brings a Mythic+ style challenge system to WotLK 3.3.5, and I wanted to share the concept and get some feedback from the community.

    The Concept
Instead of the retail Mythic+ keystone levels, this addon creates a challenge based on item level tiers. The goal is simple: complete dungeons as fast as possible with the lowest gear possible.
    How It Works:
    Item Level Tiers
Groups are categorized into IL brackets (e.g., 200-209, 210-219, 220-229, etc.)
The tier is determined by the highest IL player in the group (not average)
This prevents a fully geared player from "boosting" lower-tier runs

    Timer & Competition
Timer runs from dungeon entry to final boss death
After completing a run, you get a shareable code
A dedicated website will be available where you can submit your codes
Submit your code to the leaderboard website to compete with others
Compare your times against players in the same tier worldwide

    Fair Play
The addon monitors for gear swaps during runs
Upgrading gear mid-run can affect your run's validity
Short grace period at the start for final preparations

    Why This Is Fun
Skill-based competition: It's not about who has the best gear, but who can execute mechanics perfectly with minimal gear
Multiple tiers: Everyone can compete at their current gear level
Replayability: As you get better gear, you move up tiers and face new challenges
Community aspect: Global leaderboards and competition
No server modifications needed: Works on any 3.3.5 server

    Questions for the community:
What dungeons should be included? (Heroics only, or raids too?)
Should there be penalties for deaths, or just time-based?
What IL brackets make sense? (10 IL increments? 20?)
Should the addon support solo runs, or party-only?
Any other features you'd like to see?

I'm excited to see where this goes! If you're interested in testing or have suggestions, let me know. I'll keep this thread updated as development continues.
Planned Release: Open source when ready
    Thanks for reading!
Edited: January 10, 2026 Reason: website feature
