WotLK RaidLead didnt know what a spellhance is

I’d like to ask for clarification on a situation that happened in ICC. I want to know if the raid leader’s actions in this case would be considered bannable.


I rolled for a spell power ring in ICC (I’m an Enhancement Shaman) and won with an 84 roll. The raid leader didn’t give me the ring because I’m “melee.” I tried explaining what Spellhance is, but he didn’t believe me and ignored me for the rest of the raid. I wasted hours in the raid and ended up with no gear.

I was able to take two screenshots, but I don’t think they’re enough proof or evidence for the raid leader to get banned.


I brought up the issue with the raid leader, but he continued with rolling out other loot without responding to my concern. I’m frustrated because I spent several hours in the raid and didn’t receive any gear as a result. I’m submitting this to ask for clarification and review of the loot dispute, and to understand whether the situation was handled correctly.

Next time you join a raid, specify with the RL/ML any rules you have in mind.
