Blackrock TBC characters limited to Blackrock WOTLK character slots

Previously with Blacrock TBC being treated as its own server, we could have one set of characters there and one set of characters on WOTLK.
Now, with the merge, we are limited to one server worth of characters. I had a full list of WOTLK and a full list of TBC characters prior to the merge and would like to keep as many as possible as they have earned rewards (gear on WOTLK, mounts on TBC).

Is there a solution for this? Staff claims we cannot transfer our characters to another account to make more room.

Making a new account is free and only requires an email address and google authenticator, I'd suggest you do this so you don't have to wait forever for a response that most likely will never come– this part of the forum (Blackrock) is by far the most neglected of all subforums.

You can easily copy all UI settings by just copying the account folder and renaming the copy to whatever the name of your alt account is. Happy pvping!

Yes I'm aware of my options. The point of the post was to see if others are experiencing this issue and received any support.
Given that nobody is responding with the same problem, it's not worth development time to make a solution for this. It is what it is, it's a free server and I'm not expecting special treatment. What warmane has done by preserving these expansions is incredible enough on its own.
