Personally, I've noticed this situation. If I see a Night Elf Hunter, I have no doubt that this mentally deranged child won't gank me, even though he's 30 levels above me. No, he would spend his time looking for me and other low-level characters to just kill 20-30-40 times OVER and OVER again, and AGAIN.
This is completely SENSELESS, meaningless within the context of the GAME. It only makes sense in the SICK mind of a ganker who ALONE disrupts the game for DOZENS of players. Simply because the game allows attacking smaller players.
It would be great to have a system that would protect against SICK people so that you can't kill a small player more than once-two.
I'll also point out that the game offers plenty of opportunities for PVP ON EQUAL BATTLES! And the situation with gangers 20-30 levels higher is 99% not PVP but a deliberate disruption of other players' gameplay, as there's a loophole in the "law" that legitimizes their unhealthy behavior under the guise of PVP.
And basically, such a ganker has not learned how to kill an equal player, so he only tracks down low-level players.
What's really bad for the entire realm is that 100 players are getting negative experience, and only one ganker with a head problem will be happy.
And there's no need to hide behind the server's PVP status, as I already wrote above and suggested a solution to this problem. Anyone who disagrees either hasn't been ganked or is, in fact, a ganker.
I urge developers to pay special attention to this!
I've met enough of these ganekers to form a negative impression of the game. Because nothing lasts forever, and gankers like the ones I described create negative realm experience, which is not a plus for the project. People come to enjoy the game.
So, my proposed solution is a win-win, except for the headproblem people who don't let other players play for hours after work etc. Of course, now they'll come running to justify their sick behavior. The rest of you sane people, please support this post.
