Technical How to stop WoW from resetting my settings?

Hello everyone!

Farely new here and I love to relive the old times of Wotlk!

I've downloaded the game and set everything up as in the guide mentioned. The only issue so far for me is, that I have to redo all the settings every time I start the game.

Been going through this forum a bit but couldn't find a similar topic - sorry if I missed one!

Right click the wow folder, go Properties, clear the Read-only checkbox, press OK.

First move the game folder to other place if it is in the torrent shared folder, then do what shhnedo said.
