I have never played PvP in WoTLK, so I am not experienced on how the situation here looks like. Currently I mixed Warthful gear with ICC PVE gear as most of guides recommend to achieve BIS. However, having ~1100 resil I get killed in few seconds. Of course I can always kill someone so fast, but this type of PvP doesn't seem challanging at all.

In Cata or MoP PvP, which I played alot it took much more time to kill the enemy, and during 1vs1 fight every class could use many abilities to counter/cc or even plan a strategy. In WoTLK it resembles hack&slash gampelay - in BGs people almost 1shotting everyone without thinking.

Here is my question. I noticed many players use full Wrathful gear, instead of pvp/pve mix. Maybe this is a key to have more fun of PVP I am missing? As I said I followed the guides claiming 1000-1100 resil is enough for malee dps.
