WotLK Where can i buy meat? (icecrown)

Inn doesn't have meat to feed pet.... also the food trainer only has recipe not the actual meat to buy... am in stormwind.

On Icecrown, as far as I know, you don't have to feed your pet. It will never leave your side even if it's hungry. At some point you will unlock a talent on the pet talent tree that grows his happiness when attacking other mobs.

It doesn't leave you, but it deals less damage.

At level 15 there is a minor glyph called Glyph of Mend Pet which you can apply and will make feeding your pet unnecessary.

You can buy meat from Jaeana the Meat Vendor in Darnassus (Tradesmen's Terrace). Also from innkeepers in Borean Tundra and Dalaran. My suggestion if you're low lvl is to find a mage to open a portal for Dalaran and set your Hearthstone there, from there you can teleport to any city + Tanaris. Makes everything more accessible. Additionally you can feed your pet meat from beasts you kill even if it's raw.
