    EXP boosting

    Hello

Can we please bring back the exp gained by boosting someone into dungeons?( the afk to entrance) I mean trying to level alts for someone who has no time playing that much and dont wanna spend hours in RDF to find groups or even questing again and again ?

I know there is still a boost but you need to be in a specific range with your alt so he can gain decent exp.

I dont know why it was nerfed in the first place , if anyone has any topic giving the reason why was nerfed or what please let me know.

Is it that troublesome to move the alt closer before you kill everything?

Yes, the alt dies because of its increased aggro range and low HP.

if you tell me the reason that it was nerfed , i might think if thats a big problem to move my alt.. im seeing no reason nerf this in a 10+ plus year server

The reason it was nerfed is that the previous behaviour was a bug.

Never had this issue and I've boosted several alts by moving the alt closer to mobs years before the change occurred. Doing a /follow would get your alt killed.

What I've always done is pull on the main a section of the trash/dungeon. Pool the trash behind a corner, if there are casters. Move alt closer and once close enough, proceed to AoE and kill the trash.

Just whisper a random person at the same level of your alt before entering the dungeon, asking them if they want a free boost. Summon them at the dungeon summon stone and have them hang back a bit, while putting your alt on follow with them. Ez XP and make a new friend while doing it!

Yes, but before, you could just leave the alt at the entrance of the dungeon.
