immolation aura is a meta spell. it should be in the demonology tab of your spellbook. it does an aoe similiar to starfall.

do you still do 18k dps on dbs violinist? that seems impossible :/

LAG is your worst enemy as a demo lock...I bet you Violinist has less than 100 ms lag. My dps has varied from 5k at BQL with bite on my demo lock cuz I was running around with 1500 ms lag and molten serverside lag to almost 10k VOA with 300 ms lag. Timing your meta, keeping up dots and spamming Soul fire in a haste-dependent spec is adversely affected by lag.

Also check out the person's internet lag to make sure they are suffering from this major handicap and not a lack of knowledge about their class.

Yes i still do more than 18k dps (This is from 2 weeks ago i think).

Yes, you are right. I play with ~60ms on average. FPS also is a factor though (even though i have 75 fps in dal). This past raid i did 17.7k instead of my usual 18+ cause i was playing on a friend's computer with 20 fps during boss fights (although i had 20 ms doing it lol).

I actually watched the video even before noticing this Guide and switched to Demonology, following Optec's tips & advices. Now that I see this Guide, I must say it's pretty nice.

violinist you can also use the nitro boost enchant for your feet can't you? it also gives 24 crit in addition to the speed boost. you can also use springy arcanoweave for your back to give yourself a parachute and 27 sp :D

ok, so i ran TOC 10 last night on my demo lock wih a GS of 4.996K and i pulled 6.9K dps on almost every fight(icehowl i managed 5K). i was making the 5.7K mage REALLY mad, and the misses was in the group as well (5.5K shadow priest) and me and her were fighting for top spot in the last 30 seconds of every fight.

here is my armory (my pet isnt out ATM tho, so add a few hundred SP) http://armory.molten-wow.com/charact...ock/Frostwolf/

now im wondering if i should stack a little more haste until i hit 1K and then just stack SP. currently during Bloodlust my soulfire is 1 second cast. im going to farm POS today to get the shoes from garfrost and then ill but the EOT ring with spirit and haste. as for a belt, ive had no luck with POS hc.

My question is do you have the rest of the t9 gear? If not thats fine, but if you do you should be using the 4p t9 instead of the 2p t9 + 2p t10 because you will do more dmg. Also when you start getting better gear, try and work out the t10 legs. Bis for demo is shoulders, head, gloves and robe for t10.

And no you shouldn't stack haste. Just gem like my guide says and you will be fine.

just set your felguard to autoattack and macro Demonic Empowerment to your Shadowbolts and Soulfires. don't worry about your felguard's dps; here on molten, try to maximize your own character-based dps.

Intensity is absolutely necessary otherwise you will get pushbacks like mad in ICC. Who cares about Improved Demonic Tactics as your pet dps is bugged and doesn't benefit from the 30% ICC buff anyways. Just copy Violinist's spec, it works like a charm.

i believe wotlk bugs will be on a second priority to the devs, who are working hard on the upcoming cata realm.. once the realm is stable, they ll probably find time to work on these

First of all it doesn't sound like ur even a demo lock. Demo locks dont get any buffs when the imp crits.

If you are a demo lock then no u shouldn't be using imp. First, Felguard damage isn't bugged (My pet often crits for ~4.5k in icc). What is bugged is the hit rating, exp, ect. In fact, according the the thread in the bugtracker this is the current status of pet bugs in relation to stats,

Following corrections in minions' scaling

Stamina - Working
Intellect - Working
Armor - Working
Resistance - Working
Spell Bonus - Working
Attack Power Bonus - Working

Spell Penetration - Hard to tell

Hit Rating - Not working
Resilience - Not working

As you can see, the damage isn't bugged because SP bonus and AP bonus are both fixed. What is broken is the hit rating, but its broken for both pets anyway.

2nd, The overall buff that felguard gives is better than the buff that imp gives. Not only do you get 5% mor dmg for all spells like Shadowbolt (which from what i see hits harder than incinerate in the first place) you get more net sp from your minion. Both of these are more than enough compensation for the 5% fire crit that imp gives. In combination with the fixed damage, felguard is a better choice.

TLDR; just use the damn felguard

Hmm,ok I but for buff I meen the demomonic pact-ur pets crits appley the demonic pact efect onur paty members.what about this and emrooved demon tactic increas ur pets crist echance equal 30 % of ur critical.And about demonic imrproovment increase ur demon crit chance by 20 % for 30 sec and felguard increas only atack speed,Cox of this I ask if imp or felguard anyone poste comment pls
