[Theme Thread] SOTW 2#

I might take that into consideration, but I'll decide on that tomorow, beacuse at the moment I'm totally exhausted, I've walked more than 2 hours straight. Oh and I'll talk to Orphic about the themes. Personally, I like the more challenging ones, but if the community won't participate because it is, then we should ease up a little bit and start slow. Thanks for the "heads up".

I agree about the themes. I understand that something more challenging is appealing to a competition, but keep in mind that Molten isn't a graphics community; there are simply a few of us out of many who enjoy making graphics, and even fewer who do it on a regular basis. Easier themes will attract more people to participate.

I've already taken this failure (not going to beat around the bush, it is what it is) and learned from it. I realize the theme represents a challenge and now that I've taken a more in-depth look at the designing community, I have come to the understanding that Inflection is completely right.

I've already got several "easy" themes in mind that I think anyone could whip something up for. I'm trying to juggle unique and exciting with easy and relatable, so I apologize if I do a poor job, this being the first time I've done this sort of thing.

Again, I'm only seeking to produce thought-provoking themes that people will get buzzed for. Please forgive my inexperience and understand I'm not jaded -- I'm part of a graphics forum with much more experienced members and I'm not used to a more casual community such as this.

I promise I'll give out a theme you guys will enjoy and race to compete in!

- Beauty should be like the easiest of the easiest themes to choose. Just pick the first thing that connects to beautiful in your mind and let your creativity go wild.

I saw theme and I was like: Ummm,nah maybe next time
Also it's pity that I have lass and less time to do something with graphic stuff because of university and studies after which I can't even think about opening PS :|

All in all themes should be a little easier so it won't scare away some of the participants.

The next theme has been decided upon.

It is much easier and open-ended, with endless possibilities and interpretations, while being exciting. I can't wait to see what the community will produce! I think everyone will enjoy it, and keep sending in ideas. No idea is bad and every suggestion has the potential to appear in an upcoming SOTW.

I also would like everyone to thank Yuffie for being a great manager and for being flexible with this whole thing.
