Any news regarding the issues related to spells not being announced properly .(it may have something to do with combat log, we all know cata combat log is pretty much worthless atm.) .
btw. the addon is by far the best one i've seen for a while. GJ!
Don't know, I haven't played Cataclysm since Feburary. There's been 2.5k downloads from the latest update and no solid feedback regarding this.
Are there any spells specifically that don't announce by sound at all, or sometimes does?
Polymorph would be one, I really like this addon but I have had the same experience, I think it is the same for all spells, some are announced sometimes, and sometimes not...
There is some issue with feral's skullbash as it is not announced. In options it is described as bear's skullbash so maybe that causes the problem.
Thanks for the feedback. I have tested Polymorph in duels and it seems to be working fine, however I'll soon be rolling out some more fixes to see if it changes anything.
SoundAlerter was intended to be a WoTLK only addon, since in Feburary this addon will be useless as GladiatorLosSA is pretty much going to replace it.

SoundAlerter for Cataclysm updates:
- Spells such as Mind Freeze and Counterspell will now be announced only when
you get interrupted- All spells should now give the player a debuff will be alerted, regardless of
target- All sounds will now be played in the Master Channel, so they won't be silently
played- Remove Mouseover alerts, I don't really see a use for them.
- Fix spell Sap when enemy is in stealth
- Skull Bash (Cat/Bear) should now be fixed
- Refactor some code, unneeded comments and removed unneeded code.

I've been in love with this addon since a friend referred it to me a couple months ago. Thanks for devving it :)
Since I don't get that much time to PvE, I may just start on that as a side project as a Deadly Boss Mods addition, or just modify the deadly boss mods addon itself.
