Hey hey,this is Vanessa(Verj in game) and i'm here to share my art with you guys :)

I love making comics,so i invented some comic characters and those are the ones i draw the most.
I did not take drawing courses,nor i had someone to teach me,since i am stubborn and rarely listen to others.Do let me know what you think about them ^^

This is Nikola Skaven,he's an evil genius(sounds cliche i know).He showed passion for engineering and decided to build his own evil empire.


This is Patrick Samuel Garett.He is blind and because of his wrecked past,he is remorseless and would attack anybody that offends him.He carries around two short swords.


This character isn't a comic one,it's just random.I've made it around 2 years ago.


I did once try to draw all the characters i've ever created(be it fan made or just my own) and i still didn't manage to draw half of them before i gave up.

Needs work but you are definitely on the right track.

Guessing from images you posted, you'd prefer to people than anything else ? I would suggest that you study some human anatomy, just to improve on your proportions.

This reminds me of childhood, when I taught my brother how to draw.

Studying human anatomy is not necessary if you want to improve your particular style most of all.
I, for example, draw character with exaggerated characteristics such as: Big noses to "liars and deceivers", small head and big muscles to "warriors and barbarians", long beard and bald heads to mage types, long hair and mustache to knightly types, you get the idea.

At your 3rd picture, is that guy really drawn on 9 A4 sheets of paper? Damn it must be huge. How much it took to finish?

Yes,that drawing is on 9 A4 pages and it took around 10 hours to finish.

I know i tend to mess up the anatomy but it's because i don't sketch them at all,i just draw them and they are comic characters not realistic drawings.I don't even use a ruler or i rarely do.I did however try to set some drawings in a realistic note,but most of them are cartoons.

I have drawn some animals too,although i focus on people more now.

The thing is i fail at realism and my humans look just like..cartoons.







Last one is my attempt to draw my cat with the left hand.It's always fun to try since i'm right handed. XD

First, I LOVE YOUR WORK.

Now that that's off my shoulder, I can say is that I love your style, it's not like the regular "perfect" anatomy drawings and because of that it's quite appealing to my eye. I am really looking forward to more of your work. Oh and a question... Is that cat really drawn by left hand? If yes then, **** me. I will never be able to something like that. Awesome, I love you.

Yeah the kitty is drawn with the left hand,you can see it by the signature and the fruits being a bit fuzzy.

I'm gonna post the drawing i am working on when it's done if you're interested :)
