Like i even care if someone has 5% damage buff or not... It doesnt affect your dps by that much anyway. True, its abusing but its not OP so no need to take it so serriously. Oh and btw, most of the people that abused that got kicked or left anyway, i dont know if someone else is still using it.

We seem to miss the point, everyone talking BiS. unless you donate its nearly impossible to get BiS unless you have a excellent guild and people in the same timezone as you and do icc every week on 1 char and you dont get bugged at gunship or BQL.
at an average gs of 5.5k and your gemmed correctly it really depends on your skill and understanding of the class, a strait out dps race on a single non moving target i believe enhance would come out on top, but only marginally.

Here is the highest legit enhance DPS I have seen ingame and forums.
I say legit, because the Recounts with 26k do not display the shamans buffs, they can easily abuse Sholazar buff, Icecrown Runes, and use the Brunhilldar axe bug. Also, really? You think a recount made with MS paint counts as legit?
Here it is, 21.8k, achieved in a pug on 8/jan/013, at DBS.
Notice that I display all my buffs, no hysteria or Tott, focus magic was used ( gonna have to trust me on the hyst and tott). The next highest LEGIT dps is Akama's 19k (atleast of what I've seen)

Well, I remember doing 23-24k as elemental in 25heroic. W/o any exploits.
P.S. Have ss only of 20k atm, didn't take with 23 ;/

In Neltharion, WOTLK before Cata.. My ele shammy Kihod (renamed Jaizlyr) always goes on the top dps, sometime a rogue or lock would beat me but my ele shammy still give a powerful punch. I've tried enhance and it's difficult to master, but I can't say that it would outdps an ele. you're SS as enhance is good, but I will say that I have outdone that before. Ele shammy still will win this debate. Other old players can atest to that.:P

Having two Ele shammies in one raid is imba. One goes into melee range and drops magma totem instead of Wrath. With melee attacks in between shocks and with magma ticking, DPS can go as high as that of a maeg or huntard. Ele's just no-brainer.

Try seeing Enh on a Movement intensive fight ;) Or a fight with alot of target switching ;)

it was 2 years ago on sargeras when it was still wotlk server, i had full bis gear deathbringer fight main dps dpsing only boss and no adds(cl only instead of lb in rotation) and did 33k dps as enh, this is not a troll , i had ss back then and i will try to find it. in still (tank and spank) fights enh outdps ele, but in fights with a lot of movement ele is better

2 years ago windfury didnt have an ICD, now windfury has it but its damage is lower than its supposed to. I remember doing 37k windfury tripple/quadruple crits in icc with ToC 25 / Icc 10 gear, and now the highest ive had is 20k with nearly BIS gear.
