Hello everyone and also congratulations on your impressive raiding results:)
I am a new player on molten and i would like to ask a question if possible. I am not yet able to make an official application to your guild, considering the state my two days character is in:P (awfull in a word haha), however the main reason behind this is that i havent completely decide on which realm i should play and would be really great to find at least the chance of joining a good guild before investing time and effort in my character (i like to do my homework before class starts ^^)
I have surfed the guild recruitment forum for this realm and without trying to offend anyone (maybe its just my searching skills) i wasnt able to find another guild that is serious about raiding, matches my time schedule and its also active. Also your guild looks amasing in terms of fun:D, organizing events a lot of different things so would be quite awesome if i would be giving the chance to join . However beeing most succesfull raiding guild in Deathwing i do realise you are probably swarmed daily with applications.
Anyway just to sum-up my question is how strict are you guys when recruiting related to raiding experience on molten and also gear and if any exceptions can be made:)
A few words about me to sort of draft an application and to get to know me better, again without making an official one yet simply because i cant offer a good one.
I am a 29 years old guy with a full time job and a life lasting gaming passion:D. I am a relaxed, friendly and calm guy which really enjoys raiding and doing other activites with guildies. I have quit retail wow about 6 months ago after clearing cataclysm , will explain lower why.
Started playing wow on retail towards the end of WOTKL (which is also by far my favourite expansion, thats why im here:P) with having one thing in mind, raiding. As i didnt have at the time any raiding experience i didnt do any progress raiding in Wotkl, most guilds were already burned out. I did clear however all raids except LK HC 25 while at level 80 so i know tactics and boss mechanics (but on retail, as i saw in your application format, if on molten there are differences i would gladly study them if pointed to a topic or explained)
Once Cataclysm came i started raiding hardcore25 as warrior prot/dps (also alt raiding as Hunter and DK tank/dps). I cleared first two tiers within their life-line which was quite an achievement especially for ragnaros hc. After Firelands my guild drifted apart so i joined another one that was raiding 10man.
I was soon made officer and also raid leader. I raid lead the guild through Dragon Soul and we managed to kill Deathwing hc. Unfortunately i was the only active officer in the guild, i took care of raid lead, recruitment, website management, internal problems and everything, and this coupled with the fact that deathwing kill came way to late due to summer aproaching, people signing off and stuff so i simply burned out, especially on leading but on wow also. So that was the point i stopped playing on retail and will never go back.
I love theorycrafting my chars and min-maxing and in my raiding/leading i do think i acquired the most important thing as a raider, raid awareness. I was also been able a few times to enter worldoflogs top200 as dps even though wasnt my main or best geared spec on warrior. I rarely fail if at all , big reason to this beeing also the fact i really enjoy studying encounters before hand. I am not a lootwhore^^, nor a dpswhore i know to focus on whats important. I also know to respect raid leading and to execute indications accordingly.( and never ever to question raid lead decision within raid:P)
Regarding my Deathwing char:
I would like to play a Frost DK Dps/Tank as main, but if this is not needed in guild please let me know what it would be preffered. I can play mostly any class except healing and would rather not go warrior as quite bored of it from retail.
My plans for him are:
1. Get him to 80, complete my theorycrafting studies as im not top notch yet.(dk currently 71)
2. Finish my UI, will use bartender/DBM/omen/grid/pitbull/powerauras/recount. I like my Ui to be clean but also completely functional, in the end will most likely look very similar to this

3. Get needed reps asap for head/shoulder enchants.Also fix my gemming
4. Shape up my gear including maybe some donor gear to boost the little guy (unless this is frowned upon by guild in which case i have no problem not doing it, main reason for it beeing to improve my chances to join you guys)
All the above should be ready by weekend at latest.
According to your feedback to my post, if i am lucky to receive any:), i could make an application after all above is ready, but with the mention my gear would be underpar and my experience in molten raiding would be close to none. Also joining as a social maybe participating in some casual runs at first would also be great:)

At the first hand I'd like to gladly welcome you on molten-wow ;)
I'll show you our priorities as a diagram
Sociality > experience(and/or tactic knowledge) > efforts put in application > gear
For now, the only class that we're missing is fury warrior, but every exceptional application(and the applicant ofc lol) is considered.
In short we could actually get anything as long you know how to do, and previous diagram is completely done by you.
Of course theres possibility to join as social, for more info etc. catch me/or anyone from our Guild Management.
(You can find my name in signature or just simply ask my guildies, also you can find all names at first of this thread with most of alts[lol just two of mine are listed])
