if you like challange (no idea if i wrote this good xD) go to ally and try to carry your team in bgs, like i do sometimes. also ally dont need to wait for bg que while horde waits like 5-10 minuts (rly i play both sides and this is a fact)
in the end play what you like, i suggest :D

still horde... Hordes are strong and good even without the human racial benefit which everyone chooses because of its OPness. Besides. The story of WoW revolves around horde. Alliance is just an additive to the story.

That's enough to know that you've got no idea about the lore.

Night elves were once called Kaldorei, are one of the oldest races of Warcraft and have enough story behind them to match the entire horde.

The character you play was once part of the Kaldorei (Night Elf) race, than they split. They've been allied with the alliance all the way till the third war when their home got destroyed.

Than during the events of Warcraft 3, Blizzard made up some ***** out of nowhere called Garithos who treated them like crap witch drove them off.

Blood elves never had any connection to the horde whatsoever. But because of the WoW gameplay they were added on the Horde side in the burning crusade, more of a marketing strategy because people on the horde side wanted a bit ehh' prettier race, it would have made more seance if they re-joined back in the alliance.

In other words horde and alliance play a role in Warcraft lore but there's much more lore in Warcraft other than them, read the books or some articles at least than start arguing about lore.
