[development addon] SoundAlerter

I love this addon.

Though it can be a little clustered on confusing when you are in a heated battle in arathi basin and it starts yelling "ice block up! ice block down! avenging wrath! ring of frost! trinket used! trinket used!trinket used!"

I cant seem to change the settings, is there a way to fix this?

Turn on the "Target and focus only" option by unticking the "All Enemies in Range" option and ticking "Target and Focus only", it should have been enabled at default.

can you fix Cata , "drinking" ? it doesn't say ...

Sure, seems as though I forgot to change drinking.mp3 to drinking.ogg in the code. I'll post a fix

Yes pretty much, although I've modified the addon myself to work for 3.3.5a, since there was no 3.3.5a version of the addon, as well as a lot of additions such as more spells, target & focus only option, chat alerts, enemy debuff alerts, etc.
There was no 4.0.6a version of GladiatorLosSA either, so I ported my 3.3.5a addon over to 4.0.6a and got everything to work there. I've never really meant to have it work for 4.3.4, but I might as well add it since it's a lot more extensive in terms of features than GladiatorLosSA .

I really have no idea, I haven't even got the 4.3.4 client, but by theory it should. If it doesn't, I may just need to rewrite the main function that parses the combat log.

Sorry, it just come across my mind that you may need to enable the "load out of date addons" option on the addons button on the character selection screen. I haven't updated the .toc file for 4.3.4

easily download GladiatorSA thats ur "soundalerter" for 4.3.4 ... i dont know what's the point of steal an addon and rename it...

This does NOT work with Moltens 4.3.4 client...Trol, check your PMs.

Update: neither SoundAlerter2 nor SoundAlerter4 work with Moltens 4.3.4 client. Hope you will be working on a fix soon Troll :D

I don't know if you have noticed, but the development work and additions of features put into the addon to make it work for 3.3.5a and 4.0.6a, versions which GladiatorLosSA had not supported, and an additional complete re-write of the addon, crediting the original addon authors, and addon name and listing of this addon thread, it's not really 'stealing'.

This does NOT work with Moltens 4.3.4 client...Trol, check your PMs.

I'll work on it as soon as possible, when I get a 4.3.4 client up and running. In the meantime, you can all use gladiatorlossa. I've never really meant to have it working for 4.3.4; it was mostly just for 3.3.5a
