So I faced an elemental shaman today... This's the comp...

Disc priest - elemental shaman
Vs.
Holy paladin - frost death knight
(Hpally = me)

This is what happened:
I saw a video about ele shamans that their flame shock directs their totem's damage, so I cleansed it and destroyed the totem.

After that, the shaman went into heroism x500 mode and started casting .3 second lightening bolts.

I need info..
I was tipped off about their amazing 90% haste proc... Is there anything else I should know about ele shamans.

Lava burst crits if flame shock is on the target. So either give them a 90% haste proc or heal through a juicy crit. I need to rep run my shammy now :D

Also, what annoys ele shamans, in general. Like.... What tends to cripple them?

Hero can't be used in arena, Jugger(if you don't mind me calling you that) means it was like 500 heros since it was so fast

Retaliation for dispelling our flame shocks all the time imo.

Mate I think I was the ele shaman, I was vs this comp that you named and yes a holy pala kept removing the flame shock so I kept putting it back on every cd and he wouldn't stop dispelling it, I was mastery stacking with theralions mirror also (around 58% mastery on proc) meaning I hit very very fast due to you dispelling constantly and over half the casts procced a second hit.

Each lightning bolt would be doing around 26k if crit and 13-15k non crits with this being double every mastery proc.

The arena this happened on was the one with the bridge and you played down if it was you was playing.

Ele talent tree, talent called Lava Flows, 4th tier, right side: http://db.mmo-champion.com/utils/talents/#k=1uugN.bqj.shaman.

It is giving 90% of speed, which is roughly 45% of casting speed for 6s. It is retaliate talent.

BTW; directing totems with flame shock doesn't work so far on 4.3.4

heroism dont work in cataclysm (arena)
los when they pop cd's (the pilar u see in arena? hug that)
your partner is a frost dk (try to teach him to stay on the target and stack ns)
focus the priest(bouth must do that)
after you juked his trinket and cd's (like priest pain suppression) stack ns
prepare for burst (use brain and coordinate cc)
learn that dk to use his/her cd's and to master: focus strangulate (5 sec silence) / focus deathgreep (2sec) / focus mind freeze (2sec) / focus deathgreep and start casting hungering cold (8 sec)
for you the hpala:
keep freedom for burst - shamy can root(5sec)/thunderstorm with slow (5sec)
learn to stun / rebuke focus (in this case the priest)
learn to help your partner (exo + denounce on target 0 crits for 6 sec)
dont spam cleanse is better to have flame shock on you, dont give that 90% haste to enemy shamy.
u trinket the hex (you cant cleanse that) or the dk use lichborne when shamy want to hex it (he will be immune)

as a hpala + fdk in 2s arena you dont have problems with this comp.
no word about huge damage on that f dk (maybe molten will fix that insane damage soon)

a dk sitting on their face tends to cripple them pretty bad, also afaik they have some mana issues with longer fights
