Ok, well since everyone seems to think this is a formal political forum that's checked by UN members daily, I'll explain this ****.


Chinese:

Main 2 dialects: Cantonese and Mandarin.

Now, both are heavily spoken depending on where you live in China.

When I said, "Chinese is ****ing annoying." - yes I was talking about both dialects. (Generalization Grym, omfg go die) They're similar to the point where someone not from the area (aka 95% of you) wouldn't even be able to tell the difference, so stop calling me out about it.

I said both dialects under the main topic of Chinese because their basic language format is similar.

Some of you will probably want me to explain that too, so I'll do it now.

• No written alphabet, aka about 6000 different characters.
• Oh hey each of those characters have on average 4 different tones that change the meaning of the word completely.

I've taken Mandarin before, and it's not ****ing easy.
And fyi, here in Taiwan, people speak a variant of Mandarin known as ...yep...Taiwanese.

Therefore, if I say Chinese, depending on the context, it may not actually be wrong. (aka my sentence earlier).
People that get annoyed by that should stop being so uptight.

If you want to know why I pointed that error out, it's because our Academic Decathlon team lost the state championship two years go by one question, which was "what is the most widely spoken language throughout the world, and approx. how many speakers does it have?"

The answer was Mandarin. We put Mandarin. We got ot wrong.
Alice, our competition, put Chinese. They got it right.

Alice moved on to state. We did not.

Yesterday I drove past the infamous junior high bus stop. I'm at 40 km/h and 4 moped kids drive downhill a road they're not allowed to drive through and right in front of me. I had to brake pretty hard. When I start moving again, another one of them tries to drive past me, and almost falls on the street. I just drive past him.

I just can't understand how these *****s still couldn't have learned basic traffic rules. You always let anyone coming from left of you to pass unless you can turn and accelerate without slowing them down.
