Of course it's four years, I've finished my fourth year two months ago. I'm '94 and was in high school during 2009-2013 period. Just seems weird...

Because I started school a year and a half faster than normal, I finished high school a little after turning 18. I was always the youngest in my class, even at university.

And yeah, there are no courses here, there are many types of HSs, specialized and not. My was gymnasium, like a general one, with two options from the second year, science-math or language-art, though differences are not so drastic. Anyway you go 4 years.

Same here. School for 8 years, usually start at 7-8 years old,
Many types of high schools. From math to arts to languages and music. You go for 4 years.
At the 12th year (after you finish high school) you take the baccalaureate.
If you pass it, you may go to a university (many types of universities) and if you fail it, well you're basically screwed (better find a ****ty job).
