Both me and my sis were hit by my mother in our younger years, though not much. Father hit me only once. But it was like all mom's hits combined. I never regret it. It was worth. Few slaps and hits never hurt, children get too spoiled without them.

Smell of blood still fills my nostrils from time to time and I still bear the scars(literally) of violent punishment from when I was a small kid, but you don't see me *****ing and throwing tantrums and lecturing others about how to treat a child, unlike some who think they know better than others just because they were lightly punished once or twice when they were small and think it's too big of a deal no one should go through. Please get your bs together, if getting kicked by your parent repeatedly until you are hospitalized for 2 weeks would automatically teach you the best way to treat a child, then I'd know the best way to treat a child.

I'm against any violence but, seeing that people that got spanked are much more humane (Read Polite, Kind, Understanding, Modest...etc) I do not see too much harm in it, as long as there is a good reason behind it, not just for the sake/fun of it.

Indeed, that's what I think as well. What I meant was some people think they know everything about how to raise a child just because they were physically punished a few times. If that were the case, I'd know the best. Probably.

Too many parents cross the line and that only breeds hate and disgust, or other negative feelings.

Yes, all the fury passed on to me but I don't know if it's because of genetics or years of being subject to violence. It's too hard to suppress it sometimes. But enough b.tching about my personal problems.
