most people don't really seem to care about the tragedies, they just want everyone to think they do, so they start looking down on people for 'forgetting' any tragedy, or try one upping by pulling the whole third world irrelevant stuff.

If this is some covered up 'hit' or something at me for making the comment about people not having enough respect for other tragedies then you're wrong. Some people do care and they should. It's not American but that doesn't make it less important.

9/11 conspiracies are tinfoil-core and most can be easily disproved, but it doesn't change the fact that people died, so it has no bearing either way.

You don't have school in Romania? I mean a lot of what you'll know doesn't come from school, especially when you compare it to American education, but it's still putting you at a disadvantage there.
You learn about history so you don't repeat it, that's the most simple way of putting it.
