Rshamans don't need hit at all.
In my opinion there is no such thing as a hastecap, though many others recommend not to go over 1200.
The more haste you have the more it gets diminished and at some point eventually spellpower becomes more efficient to gem on.

  3. About the haste cap its a bit tricky imo because you benefit less the more haste you have. Im at 1220 and I dont really need more. HW is already at 1 sec with tidal waves and when i have hero and use my engineering gloves my chainheal goes down to 1.2 sec in 25 raids. Im close to full bis thou so my spellpower is at 3800 selfbuffed. You should always remember that haste doesnt help if your heals are too weak. Other way around the same.

For Resto you dont need hit, as ele I can tell you, you will need 10% as ally and 11% as horde if you are in a 25m raid with a druid withfaerie fire or a spriest (as ally you are draenei, 1% hit for you and your group). Also you have to have the 3% hit spec.

  4. THe post above. Haste is awesome but it becomes kind of senseless at a point.

That would be allegedly 1260 haste. at 1260 your global CD is at 1sec and you cant go below that. Now if you are mostly a CH spammer it will probably be worthwhile further stacking haste, otherwise you will not gain anything from it as you cant get LHW and HW casts below 1 sec.

No you dont need hit as healer, heals never miss.
