The arena matchup between 2 teams comprising a healer and dps often lasts forever but the priest mana burn chunks out a large portion of my mana. How do I deal with it?

+1 to oddball those 2 things are the best ways imo too just los the enemy or if u cant u are shamy interupt his spellcast :)

put the priest on focus and try to stay out of his LoS, if you end up in the open use wind shear and grounding totem to stop the burns while you get back to a pillar

Always LoS it?
You're the strongest healer in the game. Very stronk this patch, I hardly recommend you to use more shears/groundings.

Wind Shear, Grounding Totem, LoS, and get your partner to put up some counter-pressure on him (more pressure = less time for him to burn). This really shouldn't be too much of an issue. From a healer vs healer point of view, Shaman is probably the best counter for a disc, although I'm sure a rdruid will have something to say about that ;)

Shaman is probably the only anti disc ( besides warrior with shadowmourne LOL ).
Disc burns are worthless when you have water shield that ticks for half the mana he steals ( if you are 1100 resi ) and then you have wind shear each 6 seconds .... what more can u ask for.
If you are against a disc, your damage partner should always go on the disc while you purge all his buffs off. Disc relies on instants and you can purge 2 at once. A disc without any buffs is a dead disc.
Best partner for a Rsham is either a warrior, envenom rogue, destro lock.
This is just my opinion.
