I didn't say denial is wrong. It's part of our coping mechanisms and natural.
I'm just calling bull**** on the "time heals all wounds" babbling.

Isn't that the case with 99% of people? I doubt there's anyone who can be comfortable to deal with their sources of pain. Those who find the strength to deal with them, mostly derive that kind of power from something in their lives that supports them and makes them powerful enough to deal with their struggles. It's just a matter of finding that source of support.
Obnoxious, It's not bull****. Perhaps you are saying that, because it did not work for you...but for me, it did help with a few situations.
Yes, it is.
Bury it all you like, it will still come back.
Or perhaps, there's no denial issue at all? Let's just say that I have accepted the fact that alot of people out there have emotional issues, and they steam out their issues by being inconsiderate towards others. I have accepted the fact that the world is like this. After all, there's nothing I can do to stop people from offending me again, and I know that it will happen, and anyways....sooner or later it was going to happen. Only thing that will ease my mind is to take it 1-step at a time and be patient, because I know that most things in life are good, the badness is the minority.
Have you ever considered the fact that you are too negative and grim? It all depends on through which eye you see things.
Or are you in denial of his denial of his denial of your denial of his denial?
I have considered that, but then I realized people who said that kind of things to me were just deluding themselves into seeing things not plain and straight as they really are.
There aren't just two extremes, being "negative and grim" or "positive and cheery." There's a middle ground where you look over the pile of bull**** to see what's actually there. The funny thing is you get called "negative" by the cheery and "positive" by the grimy.
I opened up a can of worms, most of us know what Obnoxious is like, he speaks with honesty and doesn't care what people think. Someone I'd ask for advice if I needed to, although I'm not going to worry him with my petty issues.
You can all go back to talking about random ****z.
I always do that, but not here...
Who are the grimy? Homeless people?
