1. Today I decided to go fishing. To increase my chances I brought a Mountain Dew, some Grizzly wintergreen, a visor, and my trusty fishin' pole. Needless to say I didn't catch anything because I learned that I'm not very good at fishing :(

  2. fishing requires patience .-. try again :3

  3. Just finished Kill la Kill.

  4. People are supposed to get kicked and replaced from Hc raids. If someone is drawing the group back, by not doing enough dps, dying from stupid **** by not moving, having grandpa reactions and so on. In my 25 man SoO Hc raid I weekly was kicking and replacing 2-3 players so I can keep the group going. And MoP raids aren't a walk in the park compared to Cata, most say there's a huge difference between normal and Hc.

  5. OHHH there is one on FW,but i dont wanna say it name
You don't understand what I'm saying. The people in the guilds aren't really *******s, they just take what they do extremely, extremely seriously.

Well, I believe someone needs to play in a competitive environment to understand the concept behind it. Since it's not about being a dick to the person ****ing up, it's about being fair to the other people of your team who put in the effort to achieve something. What makes the difference between being good and being the best, is to be reasonable. Giving a member who doesn't perform up to par some time to improve and a 2nd chance is quite important.

I played on a top ranked team in a shooter a few years ago (top being rank 1-2 world wide). It was a quite stressful time, but also one of the most fun times I ever had in a video game.

There's a big difference between competitive team gaming, and competitive raiding imo. When you're on a team with three-ish other people that you get along with, you're much more likely to enjoy what you're doing than raiding with 24 other people, most of which I disliked.

Well, I was a 10M raider, I much prefer the smaller groups, where everyone knows everyone.

  11. Pointless?

Pointless about others: I believe that this thread has lost it's meaning. Or everything you guys have been discussing here has been pointless.

Pointless about me: I think too much.

Competitive raiding is just as much of a team game then any other. You still raid as a team, it's all about synergy. If you notice that you dislike 80% of the people you play with, then it should be time to move on. The team size never matters if the people in your team work against each other.

I played football (soccer for the 'muricans) in a club for quite some time, even here the same concept applies. 2 player in the team had an issue with each other, it draged down the entire teams performance.

I mean, our experience with team games might not be the same, but from the ones I had I learned that the team size never really matters.

I suppose I was lucky then, in that I liked ~35 of my 40 guild mates. Who says the 25 man groups can't know each other? :D

Teamspeak bonding...ah, where Dan would threaten to gkick Josh if he gave me holy paladin gear.

    I miss those times.
