Resilience gives lower benefit the more you have.
When u have over 4000 resilience the additional 366 resilience from 2h cata elite will give u only 2,6% damage reduction.
Because of that i think its arguable to use one or two pve items for more damage but slightly less damage reduction.


What about 2x Souldrinker for pvp or is dual-wield frost not viable in pvp?

if you just wanna mess around in BGs sure 2 souldrinkers are just trolls.

That 2.6% damage reduction is a must, seriously you will see how squishy Frost DKs are and you'll notice. Back in ruthless I had the most resill out of everyone I now, I gemmed it hardcore 4.6k and still dying too easily. I was more tank on my mage.

Ran Disc/Frost to the easiest 2.6 I've ever gotten in 4.0.6.

I played Frost/Shadow to 2.5k on 4.0.6
On 4.3 we got to 2.3 or 2.2k+ in ruthless season i don't remember exactly.
I think its a good combo when played properly and not so boring as with healer,and
our games would sometimes last like 10 mins. But it got alot harder on 4.3 when
Death Strike heal got nerfed.

DK was stupid

if he just played uh you could have went so much higher

frost/DPS sucked except for Frost/Arms and Frost/Ret (Frost/MM was alright).

Oblit damage is fine, if not Overscaling. Make sure your Specced and GLyphing it, and making sure your 2 diseases are on the target.

Yes of course i am thats why it is weird that it does that weak damage ,according to spells..
if i get 40k hits from frost strike i should get 60+ from obliterate ..
never seen it
