Tier2 wf mp5 weapon is better.
You don't need crit as a rshaman so that is an almost wasted stat + you want to go for 1.4k resilience. This is easier to reach with the tier 2 weapon.

Though if you are planning to donate i would donate for the 284 Royal scepter of terenas II since it's the best for ele pve + pvp and resto pve. It isn't that bad for resto pvp either since the amount of spellpower it gives you is insane

I guess u are talking about Royal Scepter and not Valanyr...

Valanyr is 245 ilvl weapon and it's not good for arenas, only for bgs because shield is not worth enough. Terenas hc weapon is wery good too.

Valanyr is too much RNG to be useful in arena and you are losing too much spellpower
