so i have focused insight in my talent 3/3 and i use flame shock to get my trink up. many ppl said tht its a waste!! what do u think??

its a waste ofc u will have to use ur flameshock evrytime it wears off to retain the mastery stack of your trinket on the other hand u can spend more time healing.The only gud thing abt this trinket is the static intellect u get:P

and in pve you dont have hit cap as healer.

yes its true... : / what i was doing was put flame shock on boss and put healing rain. due to focus insight talent 75 % mana saved and then at 10 tick my trink mastery was fully up and repeating this process for healing rain and for other spells like riptide and earth shield they cost no mana. so i was saving mana + mastery up all time from trinket...but as you guys pointed then maybe its waste..
and i do missed flame shock sometimes...but its rare like 2/10.

you misread the tooltip, you dont get -75% mana cost on healing rain. you get refund of 75% of the mana flame shock cost, which makes your flame shock almost free, but the healing rain still cost the full amount

Or, maybe, just maybe you go on shaman and re-read the tooltip again and you'll notice that YOU are wrong and he's completely correct + what he said in his post is extremely well utilisation of flame shock with that trinket.

Don't forget also that 17% miss chance doesn't mean that if you miss your shock once that the buff will be gone, as there is 6 sec CD (5 if talented) on shock and he's have to miss 2 in a row to lose buff (I'm assuming here that buff fades after 10 seconds), BUT 2 misses in a row also doesn't guarantee the losing of buff since when first miss occurs chances are that the old Flame shock will still have some ticks left depending when he decides to refresh it.
Having 2 misses in row on 17% miss chance is less than 3%. It's a very good bargain.

In conclusion, very good trinket for Resto Shaman.
