    *shrug*

My guild wasn't doing so well on Garrosh so I found a pug that did so much DPS that Garrosh never did an empowered whirling in P2 and he only did one of each ability in P3.

Also won warforged Horned Mace of the Old Ones.

I managed to down Gary after 2 months or so on 25-man. Later on, we ended up trying 10-man due to lack of raiders being online during the holidays. The result was like you mentioned, except that we skipped from Phase 1 straight to Phase 4. It was the 25-man's core raider group, and knowing how much difficulty we had on 25-man, it only showed how hard we were really carrying the 25-man group.

I quit playing shortly after, due to drama, getting screwed on loot and constantly having to carry people who didn't have a clue. Things like "no frost mage pet freeze on the sha adds pls", only to be argued with "but it boosts my dps".

I don't know what the word meant. All I know of it is that I have seen kiddos in Dueltar/Duelwynn Forest using the term "mong" and "mongoloid". I didn't bother to look it up, since it didn't seem worth my time.
Basically a mentally impaired person, when you want to tell other person they're ******ed but you want to look cool by using complicated words.

    Finally downed Garrosh.

    Also, mmm, boobs. Good night.
    Googled that. Was not disappoint.

Now if only I could get someone to play with me that I work well with. It's not easy finding someone at my own tier, though. I don't want to carry, and I don't want to be carried.
Some people like to carry, that's what I'm doing in game. I don't rub it into no ones nose because I enjoy it, I did have some outbursts before which are almost not present anymore.

I didn't bother to look it up, since it didn't seem worth my time. The word, by definition, might be demeaning. But, in my defense, I can't demean someone with a word because of its definition when I don't know what the definition is!

    Also, mmm, boobs. Good night.
I use that word to describe anyone who I find stupid, on a level of a ape. Mostly people not worth arguing, but it's not the best insult ever. Only reason I'm using it is because one guy who constantly used it to insult people while I was near. I wouldn't use it IRL though, in game it's fitting.

I'm currently stuck in the PoE trading hell called standard league Q_Q.

Btw if someone actually plays PoE on standard, I got a ton of 70-72 maps if someone needs them. Kinda trying to get some stash space >.>.
I always enjoy reading some good ol Poe, he's my senpai.

Retail sucks right now... I even redeemed my 7 days free game time just to check if anything was changed but damn was I disappointed.

There are only 3 phases on Garrosh N but I get your point.

There are only 3 phases on Garrosh N but I get your point.
Start phase with Orc adds, Iron Stars and Desecrated Weapon.
Second phase with Desecrated Weapon and Mind Controls.
Third phase with Sha adds, Desecrated Weapon and Mind Controls, and things start getting empowered.
Fourth phase where he goes full rage zerk mode and you pop heroism to blow him up before you die, which is the last 10-15% of the fight.

    Four phases.

It's fine if you disagree on the number of phases. This just helps to clarify what I meant.

In the DJ, everything from when he goes back to 100%->10% is considered one phase, and when he becomes fully empowered that's the third phase.

If you wish to see it that way then I guess you can.

Anyway, hopefully my guild can down it as well.

I suppose. Myself and others I raided with refer to two phases inside what you refer to as the first phase because of the significant change in mechanics and things that need to be dealt with. Going from aoe dps padding to having to lock down mind controls and being more careful about desecrated weapon placement was enough for us to consider it a different phase.
Speaking from a 25-man perspective where the core raiders essentially carry everyone else. By this, I mean, the majority of the raid's performance number-wise wasn't exactly spectacular, and very few of them would actually switch to the desecrated weapon.

You're still doing 10-man right? Or did you switch to 25? Either way, would you mind explaining the strat you and your guild are using?

Depends on the number of healers.

If we have 2, we ping pong p1 and p2. If 3 healers, we ping pong p2 only. It's pretty standard, we rush in for MCs after every weapon on p2 except for when the whirling comes out - we side step that. Once emp. whirling comes around we spread around the semi-circle, kill adds, and immediately run in for MCs. Rinse and repeat. We got him to 6% on p3 last time.

  14. July 8, 2014
We had to play ping pong with the desecrated weapons in every phase as well. Once the empowered whirlwind was up, though, we started placing weapons around the edge of the room and just leaving them. Everyone spreads outwards during empowered whirling, and picks up their add and kills it (and this is where ****ing Mages LOVE to use their pet's frost nova and wipe us.) That's 25-man, though. The fight lasts long enough to hero twice, actually. Yeah, that's how low the dps are.

On 10-man, well, I haven't really done it many times there. The last time, we pretty much just winged it, trying to mimic our 25-man tactics and downed it on the 3rd attempt. 2 healers, 1 tank, 7 dps.

On 25-man, before I quit, we had actually been making a lot of progress on the fight, and were getting close to have him killed (excluding the one time we killed him with luck). We were having the fight solo-tanked by a Blood DK, and we were running with 5 healers. Unfortunately, the derpy dps were keeping us back, and after having such a smooth, clean and ridiculous fast kill on 10-man, I just decided that I didn't feel like carrying people anymore.

Our tank gets on his 584 warlock to help us DPS, and the rest of our DPS are all at least 200k+ in single target, so we never have problems in that area. The biggest problems actually were that our hpala kept dying in transition phases or to the empowered whirling, and my healing was gimped by having like 6000 more spirit than I needed and a suboptimal playstyle.
