I have recently started to read the Bible and it is such an interesting work. It is a good thing to read it now when I have a more open mind and knowledge.
It is filled with symbolic and literal facts, undertones and it seriously opened my mind on quite a few things that I did not even consider before reading it.
I particularily enjoyed to see that the Old God (I'll explain in a bit) confirmed the existence of the other gods, the gods of ancient Egypt in particular, and that He defied and fought them. Such an exciting thing for me to read.
Or the proof that the council of Niceea did in fact modify the Bible so that the Old God would appear as a single entity and not a group of beings. They did miss some very fine details, however, such as when God appeared before Israel and Avraam.
Ok, about the Old God that I mentioned, from what I could gather, the God of the old scriptures is NOT the God of Jesus and the new world. There are quite a few differences between these 2 gods and reading carefully through the Genesis and Exodus you can notice some patters in the Old God's behavior and thought process. This led me to believe that the God of Avraam is either dead or gone, and he was replaced by the new God of Messiah.
It made me ask myself about these things and in the past few days I've been thinking a lot.
Just wanted to rant about these revelations that I've had.
