With all the DDOSers that just literally lured all the competition away because you have people adding each other on skype and ddosing each other on a pserver.
What's ironic is that you have these DDOSers reporting other players for harassment and racism when they've been illegitimately getting their ranks from DDOSing or DCing players in arenas..
Can anyone get a bead on this? I'm sure more than enough players in Sargeras PVP have left because of all the DDOSing issues...
I'm sure I can point out some people but then I'm making an accusation, I rather not, but if a GM wants me to investigate their accounts for these things, I'll be more than happy to send a PM of the suspicious characters.

You are welcome to report any suspicious activity. However, at the end of the day, players should be wary of giving out their personal information, including their Skype, to strangers.

The thing is, the DDoSers entice the players they lure into giving their skype by having inviting them to a 3v3 arena and require skype for communication.. Then the DDOS happens.
I've sent you the names that are in my suspicion along with the entire server.

I wish you luck in your endeavour. Most of the top players have already quit though, so I wonder if its too late for such things. This will still be an issue in MoP though, and I wonder what Molten will be able to do. It's generally too hard to prove though, so best practise is to get a proxy, and never use Skype for arenas...

Molten has just become a breeding ground for hackers and ddosers just hoping to get rank 1 on a pserver... let alone a game..

Trust me, everyone knows. No-one can do anything about it. If you are looking for top pvp, then I'm afraid you will be disappointed. Those few that get to the top without cheating are only there for a while, and will soon be replaced.
Last season teams were ddos'd, lost arenas with 0 damage done, and then got banned for win-trading. Expect similar events to happen again. The only way to be safe is to never log your old Skype and ask for an IP change with your ISP, or you too will be looking at an eventual win-trade ban.
I mean no disrespect to Molten by saying these things, I understand you are powerless when it comes to third party applications and ddos'ing towards a single IP. I would ask for more background checks when looking at win-trading bans, but honestly, who even cares any more.

When i made the ticket, Aldtharios clearly stated that DDOS is legal and not bannable. That's why people like Ithbow are ddosing and saying outloud that they do it. Quit arena like i did and let the toxic player loot the seasons. :)

I don't think some kind of "Hacking / ddosing" is the reason why alot of people left PvP / Molten in the first place, there's plenty of other and better reasons to blame if you now want to do that!
On the other hand, I know that protecting yourself is an easy way to do and I suggest you try out some protective tactics before you spam forums and whine about things like this (Which won't help by the way most likely)....
Try doing something that will give you positive results than just sit and do random stuff on forums (Whining and creating useless threads) which won't even help you pretty much.

As the Moderator already said. Why Gms have to care, if you guys giving out ur personal to strangers? Its your own fault. Dont give your skype to People, wich u dont trust and you wont get DDOS anymore.
Gms are not ur Babysitter or something. Also DDOS is not proveable, so how should Gms react on a Report for DDOS? Everyone can report some x Player and say hes ddosing or fraps a video, where u fake dc, to get the other banned..
It's not the problem of Gms , if you get ddosed. It's up to you to secure your IP from being leaked to public.

VPN is the most known one. There are other tricks aswell but they are harder to do...

It's true though. These kinds of abusive programs exist on Molten. Molten doesn't care if players gets DDoSed as long as they don't DDoS Molten servers.
Not only DDoS exist. Someone even showed how he can interrupt a cast from far away as melee. His is banned now though, and he reached top 10 ranks 3 seasons ago. There are still some hacks that are not being detected by Sentinel. High ranked arenas is just crazy. It's hard to tell if it's legit or not. If you know the feeling.. when something really doesn't feel right.

Problem: Skype. Solution: Google Hangouts and the numerous other VOIP clients out there. If you feel like you are in position that would warrant you being DDOS'd then go ahead and request that your team use one of those - at least until you feel like you can trust them.
